The Modbury Inn

I booked 3 nights stay for my son and daughter in law - their room was immaculate and superbly comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and generous and Craig and his family and staff welcoming and kind. An excellent pub and accommodation far better than any Inn I have stayed in. I would definitely recommend The Modbury Inn.

Very friendly, efficient and professional service. Great location and place. The food was absolutely beautiful and the most difficult part was choosing what to have. All the dishes were freshly and perfectly cooked and clean plates all round. Dessert menu also mouth watering. For the standard of food, prices were also very reasonable. We’re going back in a couple of days.

We stayed here whilst attending a friend's wedding nearby. We had struggled to get a taxi sorted to bring us back in the evening, and when Craig heard about this he offered to come and pick us up himself. Good as his word, at 11.30pm he went out of his way to drive ten minutes up the road to collect us and save us from having to walk home in the dark. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
